The Ohio Library Council offers a wide range of educational opportunities for its members. The OLC issues a “Call for Programs” when planning most of these events and accepts submissions from individuals from both inside and outside the library community. If you have an idea for a professional development offering, please use the Idea Box or Webinar Submission Form.
Program proposals are now being accepted for the virtual Service For All Conference. The Conference Planning Committee is seeking proposals that tie to the core competencies of public library service and empower library staff to be more aware and inclusive of all members of the community. The deadline for program proposals is March 17.

We want your ideas! Let us know what you would like to see from OLC’s professional development offerings. It can be as simple as a word or as complex as a paragraph. However, please be specific. For example, instead of entering “Donations,” use “How to get donations” or “What to do with donations.” If you already have a program that you would like to present, please use the General Submission Form above.
