Program Submissions

The Ohio Library Council offers a wide range of educational opportunities for its members. The OLC issues a “Call for Programs” when planning most of these events and accepts submissions from individuals from both inside and outside the library community. If you have a program that does not fit with any of the current call(s) for programs, please use the General Submission Form. If you have an idea for a professional development offering, please use the Idea Box.

CALL FOR PROGRAMS:

The OLC routinely issues a “Call for Programs” for a specific conference or workshop. Watch this page for updates.

GENERAL SUBMISSIONS:

The OLC accepts program proposals throughout the year. To submit a program that does not fit with any of the current call(s) for programs, please use the General Submission Form. The OLC’s Professional Development Committee reviews these forms and evaluates each program for its potential inclusion in a future educational offering.

IDEA BOX:

We want your ideas! Let us know what you would like to see from OLC’s professional development offerings. It can be as simple as a word or as complex as a paragraph. However, please be specific. For example, instead of entering “Donations,” use “How to get donations” or “What to do with donations.” If you already have a program that you would like to present, please use the General Submission Form, or submit your proposal to a specific Call for Programs listed above.
