Legislative Day
Join library directors, fiscal officers and trustees as we put a local face on the impact public libraries make all across the state. Each year, the OLC holds a Legislative Day at the Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus.

OLC Government Relations Committee
The Government Relations Committee develops the OLC legislative platform, analyzes legislative issues that could potentially impact Ohio’s public libraries and the customers they serve, and advises staff the advocacy strategy to serve the best interest of Ohio’s public library community.

The Legislative Network supports the OLC in its advocacy efforts on behalf of public libraries.
