Library patrons often ask how their home or property can be placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Learn what makes a property eligible for the National Register including selection criteria, the nomination process, legal protections, tax incentives as well as common misconceptions.

Learning Objectives: You’ll learn how to:  identify the categories and evaluation standards of historic places; nominate a property; explain benefits and common misconceptions
