Registration Now Open for Library Leadership and Management Conference

Leadership is a skill for any role. This spring, the OLC will host a new conference on leveraging your leadership potential and preparing future leaders within the library community. The Library Management and Leadership Conference: Future Focused Leadership will be held on Fri., May 20 at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason.

This is an opportunity to learn key concepts and skills that they didn’t teach you in library school. The conference will explore how to become a successful leader, improve communication, delegate with confidence, manage conflict and motivate others through times of change. This in-person event features nine different breakout sessions that cover a range of topics from internal customer service to compensation beyond pay. The agenda and session descriptions are available on the OLC website. The registration fee is $135 for OLC members (Non-member fee: $270).
