Conference Overview: Leadership is a skill for any role. This conference is an opportunity to learn key concepts and skills that they didn’t teach you in library school. You will gain a better understanding of your competencies as a library leader and manager, hone critical skills and learn new strategies to level up your library career. The event will feature a variety of sessions on leveraging your leadership potential, delegating with confidence, motivating a superstar team, ensuring organizational health and safety, and creating a dynamic workplace where innovation and open communication thrive.
Intended Audience: Current and aspiring library directors, managers and supervisors.
What’s Included: Morning refreshments and lunch. All handouts, provided by presenters, will be available online.
Continuing Education Credits: For those working toward their Ohio Public Librarian or Ohio Public Library Staff re-certification, this conference will count as six (6) contact hours of credit.
