The results are in and 2023 was another record-setting year for Ohio’s public libraries and digital book checkouts (eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and more).

- Digital Downloads Collaboration – 6 million checkouts
- CLEVNET – 5 million checkouts
- Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library – 4 million checkouts
- Cuyahoga County Public Library – 3 million checkouts
- Dayton Metro Library – 1 million checkouts
- Toledo Lucas County Public Library – 1 million checkouts

The Library Card Connect Program at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library System is a new partnership with local businesses to offer library cardholders special discounts on purchases made at those businesses. Each participating business sets its own discount that they are offering – such as 10% off, $1 off purchase of one item, or buy one, get one half off. Patrons just have to show their library card to get that discount.
Twinsburg Public Library teamed up with Wilcox Elementary School to help first graders put on their thinking caps for this month’s Chatterbook’s book club title.
