The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) posted the June 2023 Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution of $48,207,816 — which is $1.7 million (or + 3.8%) above ODT’s original estimate that was issued in July 2022; and $3 million (or + 6.67%) above ODT’s updated estimate issued in December 2022.

This reflects the Office of Budget and Management’s (OBM) expectations. Overall state tax receipts for the month of May came in $214 million (or + 8.4%) above estimates. As the state prepares to close out Fiscal Year (FY) 2023, overall state revenues remain ahead by $840.7 million (or + 3.3%).
