The OLC, in conjunction with the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office, hosted a webinar on voter registration rules and responsibilities for public libraries. Laura Hooks, Elections Administration Specialist with the Office of Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose; and Jay Smith, Director of Government and Legal Services with the Ohio Library Council, presented the webinar on Aug. 30, 2022. They covered the do’s and don’ts of voter registration in Ohio. Utilize this free webinar to educate yourself and staff before the busy election cycle this fall and National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 20.
