What’s Happening in Ohio’s Public Libraries…

The Licking County Library honored 35 missing prisoners of war in a special ceremony at the library. This event was a part of the library’s ongoing Veterans Project which is collecting stories of local veterans.
Athens County Public Libraries was featured in the The Wall Street Journal for their efforts to provide broadband internet connectivity to local residents.
Plain City librarians launched pumpkins in the air as part of their new series, entitled “Librarians on the Loose!”
Piqua Public Library explored Piqua’s history with theaters, dating back to the 1800s. This event is part of the library’s monthly Portal’s to Piqua’s Past program.
Mt. Sterling Public Library held a Kids’ Cooking Club for ages 6-12.
