Back by popular demand – representatives from the OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) website will provide a special training webinar designed specifically for Ohio’s public libraries.

OMJ is one of Gov. Kasich’s top priorities and the OLC has shared with his administration the vital role public libraries play in helping Ohioans find jobs!

Do any of your patrons need a job or maybe just a better job?  Maybe they’re trying to transition from one career to another? If you answered yes to either of these, then you don’t want to miss this OMJ training webinar for libraries!

This webinar will provide regional information on in-demand jobs as well as a demonstration of the newly enhanced OhioMeansJobs website and tools. The website is designed to help you and your library customers learn more about which occupations are in-demand in Ohio as well as which occupations match patron interests. Some of the more recent changes to the website are in direct response to feedback from public libraries. The recently enhanced features include a virtual interviewing practice center, more ways to search for in-demand occupations, a dedicated K-12 area, college student area and much more.  Discover how you can help your patrons by using OhioMeansJobs to plan their next career move and job search.

What’s Included: Participation in the live webinar and/or access to the archived version at a later date, resources (if applicable) provided by the presenters.

NOTE: Webinar invitations and access information will be sent via e-mail on Dec. 1. Please check that your correct e-mail address is listed in your my OLC profile page.

The webinar will be recorded and posted to the OLC’s website.
