Registration Now Open for Library Fiscal Officer Conference

The OLC’s Library Accounting Division will host its annual CPIM: Public Library Fiscal Officer Conference on April 15-16 at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Lewis Center (North Columbus). Registration is now open for this two-day event designed to provide 10.25 hours of continuing education credit for the Ohio Treasurer’s Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) as well as 13.5 hours of CPE credit with the Ohio Accountancy Board. The registration fee for the full conference is $200 for members ($400 for non-members). The one-day-only fee is $125 for members ($250 for non-members).

Public library fiscal officers from around the state will gather to discuss a variety of topics including:

  • Investment Strategies
  • Cybercrime
  • Fringe Benefits and Independent Contractors Misclassifications
  • Banking Relationships and Services
  • Ohio Ethics Law
  • Project Bidding and Prevailing Wage
  • Segregation of Duties (SoD) Matrix and more!

The conference will also provide the latest news from the Statehouse and an update on the impact of the state’s current biennial budget. The deadline to register is April 8.
