Archived Version of the OhioMeansJobs Training for Libraries Webinar Now Available

omjbirdOhioMeansJobs is one of Gov. Kasich’s top priorities and the OLC has shared with his administration the vital role public libraries play in helping Ohioans find jobs.

The OLC offered a free webinar this afternoon on this program. Gerrie Cotter, Project Manager with OhioMeansJobs and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services provided regional information on in-demand jobs as well as a demonstration of the newly enhanced OhioMeansJobs website and tools. Some of the more recent changes to the website are in direct response to feedback from public libraries.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more the new tools including the virtual interviewing practice center, dedicated K-12 area, college student section and more.
