The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) has posted the November 2016 Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution. This month’s distribution of $30,725,988 brings the year-to-date total to $344,496,177. The distribution is more than $2.3 million below ODT’s estimate for the month. Overall, state tax receipts in October came in $88 million below projections (-4.7%). State Budget Director Tim Keen has indicated that he does not think the state will meet the sales or income tax estimates for state fiscal year 2017 that ends on June 30.
