Ohio-based Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC) was named the 2016 recipient of the prestigious “Innovations in Reading” award by the National Book Foundation. Many public libraries across Ohio are NCBC affiliates and offer this innovative program to their special needs patrons. The Athens Messenger ran an article last week about the program in Nelsonville and the Dayton Daily News covered Wright Memorial Public Library’s new book club in Oakwood.
