Registration Now Open for Digital Detoxing Webinar

With the New Year comes a whole host of resolutions. Is better health one of your goals for 2017? A digital detox could be the answer. Technology access is an essential library service, but over consumption can have negative effects. In a world where technology is all around us, all the time, and in all aspects of culture and society, how can you really reduce the amount of technology you use?

OLC’s new webinar, Digital Detoxing and Your Health: Time for a Technology Break?  will show you how. You’ll learn strategies to reduce technology consumption in your daily life and how doing so can have a positive impact on your physical, mental and social health. Jenny Lobb, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator with The Ohio State University Extension will provide practical, healthy strategies that both you and your patrons can use.

Sponsored by OLC’s Adult Services Division, this webinar will be held on Jan. 18, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. The member fee is $20 (non-member fee: $40). Learn more and register.
