The elections for the OLC’s Board of Directors will begin this week. Members who have an email address on file and have not opted out of the online elections will receive an email announcing that the elections are open. Paper ballots will be mailed to members who do not have an email address on file and those who requested a paper ballot.

This year, OLC members will have the opportunity to vote for four members of the OLC’s Board of Directors, including one MLIS position, one library trustee position, and two at-large positions. Biographical information and candidate position statements will be included with your ballot.

The OLC is pleased to announce the following slate of candidates for election to three-year terms beginning January 2017:

MLIS Director:

• Kacie Armstrong, Director, Euclid Public Library
• Karl Colon, Director, Greene County Public Library

Library Trustee Director:

• Chad Seeberg, Trustee, Marysville Public Library
• James Widmer, Trustee, Ida Rupp Public Library (Port Clinton)

At-Large Director:

• Paula Brehm-Heeger, Service Operations Manager, Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County
• Tena Wilson, Director, Stark County Public Library

At-Large Director:

• Brian Hare, Director, Reed Memorial Library (Ravenna)
• Nick Tepe, Director, Chillicothe-Ross County Public Library

The OLC election will run through July 30, 2016.
