“Not Your Parents’ Library!” Columbus Dispatch Article Takes a Look at Today’s Library

“The long-held stereotype goes something like this: When you walk into a library, you can hear a pin drop.

But such environments, central Ohio library officials say, simply don’t exist anymore.

The focus of the 21st-century library is “less about collections and more about connections,” said Ben Zenitsky, a spokesman for the Columbus Metropolitan Library.”
