Ohio Attorney General’s Office Publishes 2016 Edition of Sunshine Laws Manual

The office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has released the 2016 edition of the Ohio Sunshine Laws Manual. The publication can help answer questions about Ohio’s open government laws, which apply to all state and local government entities and governmental subdivisions, including public libraries. This booklet is intended as a guide, but because much of open government laws come from case law or the interpretation of statutes by the courts, the AG’s office encourages local governments to seek guidance from their legal counsel when specific legal questions about these laws arise. The OLC staff is also available to address your questions.
