OLC Legislative Day is your day at the Ohio Statehouse! It’s an opportunity for library directors, trustees, and senior staff members to come to Columbus, meet with your legislators, advocate on behalf of Ohio’s public libraries, and share information about the essential work you are doing and your library is transforming your community! It’s important to get the message out on the vital role you play and to put a local face on the impact Ohio’s public libraries make.
The 2016 Legislative Day also will include a news conference at the Statehouse on a soon-to-be-released report on the efficiency and services of Ohio’s public libraries and the statewide return on investment to Ohio’s communities.
