2023 Convention and Expo: Call for Programs

Program proposals are now being accepted for the 2023 Convention and Expo, set for Sept. 27-29, at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. This year’s theme, Stronger Together, demonstrates how libraries leverage collaboration, teamwork and technology to foster the resilience and well-being of an entire community. The Program Committee is seeking one hour programs and poster sessions that tie to the core competencies of public library work and focus on areas such as:

  • Innovative programs and services
  • Collections and Reader’s Advisory
  • Management and Leadership
  • Intellectual Freedom and Book Bans
  • Youth Services
  • Author Spotlight
  • Workplace Wellness

Programs do not have to fit the areas listed above. Tracks will be developed based on the submissions received. The online program submission form is available on the OLC website. Please consider asking one of the OLC’s Divisions or Committees to sponsor your submission. More information about the 2023 Convention and Expo is available on the OLC website.

The deadline for submitting programs is Feb. 6, 2023.
