The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) posted the August 2022 Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution of $35,441,838 — which is about $2.3 million (+ 6.88%) above ODT’s original estimate that was issued in July 2021. This brings the statewide PLF Calendar Year (CY) 2022 year-to-date total to $335,331,423.

 

The August distribution is the second PLF distribution for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. As a reminder, the PLF percentage in the state budget was maintained at 1.7% of the state’s General Revenue Fund (GRF) for FY 2022 and FY 2023.
