OLC To Host Small Libraries Forums
The OLC’s Small Libraries Division will host discussion forums for directors of small libraries on Aug. 25, Sept. 1 and Sept. 15. These in-person sessions will be held from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. and are open to all directors of libraries that have a budget of $1 million or less and a service area of 25,000 or fewer.
OLC’s Executive Director Michelle Francis will attend each forum and provide an update on several items of interest, including state funding and what to expect for the Public Library Fund (PLF) as well as answer any questions you may have about OLC activities. The forums will also allow time for discussions with your peers about issues and challenges unique to small libraries.
The locations and dates of the forums include:
- August 25 at the Kate Love Simpson Morgan County Library
- September 1 at the Orrville Public Library
- September 15 at the Seneca East Public Library
Registration is free for OLC Institutional Member Libraries through this link. Please be sure to check the box for the forum you plan to attend.
