Cybersecurity is a growing issue and ransomware attacks are on the rise. Unfortunately, public libraries are not exempt from the threat. This is an important issue that has already impacted library systems in Ohio. It doesn’t matter if your library is small, large, rural or urban — you need to be prepared.

The OLC is hosting a webinar on Mon., May 2 on how to better prepare your library and upskill your staff through Ohio’s TechCred program. Right Click 2.0: Cybersecurity and TechCred Webinar will be held from 1-4 p.m.  The registration fee is $45 for members (non-member fee: $90). The deadline to register is April 28.
