Sourcing Alliance/Equalis Group Benefit Program

The OLC has teamed up with the Sourcing Alliance/Equalis Group to create and manage group purchasing programs that are in accordance with applicable public sector guidelines and, in many cases, satisfy the state-required bidding process.

To get started, register your library with the Sourcing Alliance/Equalis Group. This service is for OLC Institutional Member Libraries only. There is no cost to register. Be sure to select “Libraries” under “Agency Type” on the form. You will also need your library’s Federal Tax ID number.

Amazon Business Prime Benefit Program

The OLC has launched a new partnership with Amazon Business to help reduce costs for OLC Institutional Member Libraries throughout the state. More than 90 percent of Ohio’s public libraries already have some type of Amazon account and use it to make purchases on everything from bird house kits to computer keyboards. Many libraries would prefer to have Amazon Business Prime, but are unable to include it in their budgets.

This new program provides a free Amazon Business Prime account to OLC Institutional Member Libraries only and includes:

A free Amazon Business Prime Account — a value of $1,299/year with up to 100 users
Discounted pricing up to 15% from Amazon.com
Fast and free shipping on Prime eligible items
Pay by invoice option
$10,000 monthly line of credit with net-30 terms
Additional 10% discount on 5,000 items
Tax exemption on all purchases
