About the presenters:

Brooke Newberry, Early Literacy Librarian, La Crosse Public Library (WI), is a fan of anything involving little ones under 5. “The Beyonce of Babies,” Newberry loves to sing, dance, and play at every storytime and throughout the day as well. She is currently chair of ALSC’s Early Childhood Programs and Services Committee and a member of the Every Child Ready to Read Oversight Committee.

Kendra Jones, Youth & Family Services Manager, Timberland Regional Library (WA), is a self- proclaimed toddler wrangler and known by her colleagues as the baby whisperer. She is a Joint Chief and co-creator of Storytime Underground and Co-Chair of the Diversity within ALSC’s Task Force, and the ALSC Advocacy and Legislation Committee.

Intended Audience:  Children’s librarians and those who work in the Children’s area of the library.
