Program Overview: Storytimes are a valuable service to children, parents, and child care providers in the community on many different levels. This webinar will cover the basics of planning, preparing, and presenting engaging storytimes for preschoolers at your library. You will learn more about great book selections as well as songs and fingerplays to captivate a young audience. You’ll also learn a few tips to address storytime challenges like organizing materials, reading aloud to a group, and managing difficult situations.
