This one-day workshop will cover the risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.

Presenter: Dr. Cindy Boyd, Substance Abuse and Mental Illness Court Coordinator for the Hopewell Health Centers, Athens, Ohio. Dr. Boyd is a Certified Adult Mental Health First Aid Trainer.

What’s Included: All handouts provided by the instructor. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please indicate any dietary requirements in the comments section when registering.

NOTE: Attendees who complete the entire training will earn a certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid.
