This one-day workshop, held May 11 and again on May 18, will cover the risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.

Presenter: Dr. Cindy Boyd, PhD, Substance Abuse and Mental Illness Court Coordinator for the Hopewell Health Centers, Athens, Ohio. Dr. Boyd is a Certified Adult Mental Health First Aid Trainer.

What’s Included: All handouts provided by the instructor. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please indicate any dietary requirements in the comments section when registering.

NOTE: Attendees who complete the entire training will earn a certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid.
