Program Overview:
This half-day, online workshop will cover everything you need to know whether you are looking at new construction or a renovation project. It will provide informative sessions on topics of interest to all public libraries, regardless of budget, size, population served, or location. This program is designed to answer the most common questions on library construction projects – how to pay for them, competitive bidding requirements and prevailing wage.
What’s Included: Participation in the live workshop and/or access to the archived version, resources (if applicable) provided by the presenters. The webinar will be recorded and available to registrants for 30 days following the live webinar.

Financing projects big and small is interdisciplinary — legal and financial. This session will review voted and unvoted legal options for financing projects and the related cost of funds for each option. Including financing in an overall financial and facilities plan will also be discussed as well as managing expectations about what is possible given practical constraints.

This session will cover the who, what, when, where and why of prevailing wage in Ohio. During this session, you’ll get all of your questions answered, plus find out what you need to know and when it is required.
