Overview: As a library manager or supervisor, you never know what new challenges each day will bring. This event is designed to cover a wide variety of management issues and examples of successful management methods used in public libraries around the state. Whether you’re an aspiring manager or a seasoned supervisor, this conference will provide you with new ideas and practical solutions that you can implement at your library.
The educational programming for the conference will include a keynote presentation, Trends in Libraries, Library Design and Communities, and 16 different breakout sessions in four tracks.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to qualify for the member rate, the registrant must be an Individual member of the Ohio Library Council.
Intended Audience: Public library managers, supervisors, and administrators as well as those who would like to move into these roles.
What’s Included: All conference handouts as provided by the presenters. Morning coffee, light refreshments, and lunch will be provided.
Hotel Accommodations: A room block has been reserved at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Columbus – Worthington, 175 Hutchinson Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43235, PH: 614-885-3334. Please indicate that you are with the OLC when reserving your room. The room rate is $106/night (plus state and local taxes). Reservations must be made by May 22, 2018.
Continuing Education Credits: For those working toward their Ohio Public Librarian or Ohio Public Library Staff re-certification, this conference will count as six (6) contact hours of credit.
