Overview: As a library manager or supervisor, you never know what new challenges each day will bring. This event is designed to cover a wide variety of management issues and examples of successful management methods used in public libraries around the state. The educational programming for the conference will include a keynote speaker, LIBchats (Library Interesting Briefs, 10-minute talks), and one-hour sessions in four tracks:

  1. Administration
  2. Public Service Managers
  3. Non-Public Service Managers
  4. New Managers/Supervisors.

Whether you’re an aspiring manager or a seasoned supervisor, this conference will provide you with new ideas and practical solutions that you can implement back at your library.

Registration opens April 2018.

For those working toward their Ohio Public Librarian or Ohio Public Library Staff re-certification, this conference will count as six (6) contact hours of credit.
