Overview: Services for youth (of all ages) are in a constant state of change from forces both within our libraries and outside the profession. While books and programming will always be a cornerstone of what we do, the all-new Youth Services Conference will focus on the other aspects of library services for children and teens. You’ll take a closer look at how to best serve patrons from birth through high school and explore innovative ideas that you can implement at your library.

Registration Fees:
Member Fee: $90| Non-Member Fee: $180

PLEASE NOTE: In order to qualify for the member rate, the registrant must be an Individual member of the Ohio Library Council.

Intended Audience: Library staff who serve children and teens.

What’s Included: All conference handouts as provided by the presenters. Morning coffee, light refreshments, and lunch will be provided. A parking pass will be emailed to all registrants prior to the conference.

Hotel Accommodations: Reservations can be made at the Ohio University Inn and Conference Center at 866-593-6661. Please indicate that you are with the OLC’s Youth Conference. The OLC room rate is $119/night (plus state and local taxes).

Continuing Education Credits: For those working toward their Ohio Public Librarian or Ohio Public Library Staff re-certification, this conference will count as six (6) contact hours of credit.
