Imagination Library of Ohio Webinar: Recording Now Available

Ohio Imagination Library Webinar

Update 12/1/22: More than 50% of eligible children – birth to age 5 – are now enrolled in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio, which means 362,295 Ohio children will receive a free book in the mail this month. Additionally, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio has mailed more than 10 million books to Ohio children since 2019.

Update 7/8/22: The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library has updated its name to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. Besides the new name and logo, everything else remains the same. This program is reaching children in all Ohio counties thanks to the support of public libraries and other early childhood literacy partners.

April 23, 2021 — The OLC hosted a webinar today on the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library (OGIL) and how public libraries (of all sizes) are incorporating the program into their Summer Reading and fall programming events. The webinar provided easy tips and ideas on how to integrate OGIL titles into what you already have planned and how they can complement your current schedule.
