ODT Posts December 2020 PLF Distribution

The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) posted the December 2020 Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution of $36,177,913 – which is $146,135 (+ 0.41%) above ODT’s original estimate that was issued in July 2019.

This brings the calendar year (CY) 2020 total to $409,405,535, which is $5.2 million (- 1.25%) less than ODT’s estimate and only $765,515 (- 0.19%) less than the CY 2019 total distribution.

According to the Office of Budget and Management (OBM), overall state tax receipts for the month of November came in $46.4 million (or + 2.3%) above estimates. So far, State Fiscal Year 2021 tax collections are up $393.55 million (+ 3.8%) above estimates.
