“Re-IMAGEing Ohio’s Libraries” Conference: Registration Deadline Extended to June 10

The registration deadline for “Re-IMAGEing Ohio’s Libraries,” the joint conference for Ohio’s public, academic and school librarians, has been extended to noon, Mon., June 10. Plan now to join members of the OLC, Academic Library Association of Ohio (ALAO) and Ohio Education Library Media Association (OELMA) for this event on Fri., June 14, at the OCLC Conference Center in northwest Columbus.

Keynote speaker Kay Coughlin, CEO, Facilitator on Fire will kick off the conference with her presentation, “How to Be Heard in a Noisy Business World.” She will talk about finding your voice in a crowded business culture and provide a formula to help teams become successful together. This one-day collaborative event will feature programs and experiences intended to improve Ohio’s library workforce, facilitate partnerships, and support initiatives that improve the capacity of librarians and library staff to improve their knowledge and skills.

Registration is only $45 per person thanks to a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) awarded by the State Library of Ohio.

Registration for this event is only available through eventbrite (not myOLC).
