Archived Version of Voter Registration Responsibilities for Public Libraries Now Available

The OLC, in conjunction with the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office, hosted a webinar on voter registration rules and responsibilities for public libraries. Pat Currie, Elections Division, Office of Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted; and Michelle Francis, Director of Government and Legal Services, Ohio Library Council, presented the webinar on July 30, 2018. They covered the do’s and don’ts of voter registration, the online voter registration process, and the Safe at Home program to protect the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
