ODT Posts June 2018 PLF Distribution

The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) has posted the June 2018 Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution. Overall state revenues continue to come in above estimates, which for the month of May were 2.9% above projections. This again led to a healthy June PLF distribution of $35,835,193 – more than $1 million (3%) more than the ODT’s estimate of $34,788,249 for the month. By comparison, the June 2017 distribution was $33,867,672.

For the state’s FY18 (July 2017-June 2018), the PLF exceeded ODT’s projections by nearly $7.5 million.

A look at the PLF distribution for the past three years and a link to an Excel spreadsheet listing each county’s distribution total for June 2018 can be found on the OLC website.
