Mentoring Program for Children’s Library Staff: Application Deadline June 30

Are you just starting your career in the children’s area and wondering where to begin? Do you have a desire to move up the career ladder, but have no leadership experience? Would you like to share your knowledge and experience with up-and-coming children’s services professionals? The Ohio Library Council’s Children’s Services Division is now accepting applications for its statewide mentoring program.

This mentoring program is designed exclusively for members of OLC’s Children’s Services Division. The goal of this program is to connect library staff with more experienced professionals to promote growth, leadership, and a commitment to the profession.

The Children’s Services Division is actively looking for both mentors and protégés for this program. Please indicate which position you are interested in when filling out the application.

The application deadline is June 30. All participants will be notified by the Children’s Services Division Action Council by July 31.
