April 13, 2018 — Our thanks to the more than 250 OLC members – library directors, staff, trustees and Friends – who attended the OLC’s Legislative Day on April 11. As always, the representatives of Ohio’s great public libraries made a lasting impression on members of the Ohio General Assembly. Our thanks in particular to members of the Government Relations Committee and the Legislative Network for their exceptional work to organize meetings with legislators and their staffs and accommodating last-minute schedule changes. Attendees are encouraged to continue to report in with feedback from their meetings and share copies of any “leave-behind” information that was provided to legislators during your meetings.
