New Directors Workshop Series Starts May 8

The transition to a new management role can be challenging even for experienced and highly-skilled employees. The OLC’s New Directors Workshop Series is designed specifically for new and aspiring library directors who want to develop their management skills, confidence and effectiveness. This comprehensive leadership training will cover proven techniques and powerful strategies for success in your new role.

Registration is open for this four-part series that starts on Wed., May 8, 2019. Each workshop is presented in a small group setting at the OLC headquarters in Columbus and includes intensive work with everyone from OLC legal counsel and staff to seasoned directors and subject experts in various library fields. You can attend the entire series, or choose the workshop(s) you would like to attend. The registration fee for the entire series is $385 for members or staff of OLC Institutional-member libraries (Non-member fee: $770).
