Registration Now Open for CPIM: Public Library Fiscal Officer Conference

The OLC’s Library Accounting Division is hosting its annual CPIM: Public Library Fiscal Officer Conference, March 28-29, at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Lewis Center (North Columbus). Registration is now open for this two-day conference designed to provide 11 hours of continuing education credit for the Ohio Treasurer’s Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) as well as 13. 2 hours of CPE credit with the Ohio Accountancy Board. The registration fee for the full conference is $185 for members ($265 for non-members). The one-day only fee is $110 for members ($165 for non-members).

Public library fiscal officers from around the state will gather to discuss a variety of topics including investment strategies, procurement processes, Ohio ethics law, GASB 34 and 54, internal controls, and more. The conference will also feature a session by David Shoemaker, Assistant Chief Auditor of State, on the topic of House Bill (HB) 312 and credit card policies for public libraries.
