The OLC is now accepting entries for the 2018 Awards and Honors program, which recognizes and celebrates the innovative and dedicated people who make Ohio’s public libraries successful and vibrant. Have you been inspired by a colleague lately? The OLC’s Awards and Honors program covers every type of position within the library community, and for 2018, nominating a colleague just got easier! The Awards and Honors Committee has designed a new, more streamlined process for submitting your nominations. This year, all entry forms will be completed online.

If you have a great co-worker in mind, please tell us about them using the new online form and help us recognize the best of Ohio’s public library community. Detailed award descriptions, eligibility information, and nomination instructions are available on the OLC website. The nomination period runs from Jan. 1 – April 30, 2018. Award winners will be recognized during a special ceremony at the 2018 Convention and Expo set for Oct. 3-5 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio.
