Help Patrons Prepare for Election Day: Ballot Issues and Election Resources Available

Election Day is fast approaching and the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office is providing a number of resources to make it easy for Ohioans to vote on November 7th.

Informative videos outlining the two statewide ballot issues are available along with links to sample ballots and polling locations. You are encouraged to run the videos on a loop in your library or include them as part of the General Election information for your patrons. More information about Election Day and how to cast a ballot can be found at www.MyOhioVote.com.

This video explains State Issue 2, requiring state agencies to not pay more for prescription drugs than the federal Department of Veterans Affairs and requires state payment of attorney fees and expenses to specific individuals for defense of the law.
