OLC Updates CY17 PLF Distribution Estimates

The OLC has updated the estimated monthly Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution estimates for the remainder of calendar year (CY) 2017. The OLC’s tax consultant, Dr. Howard Fleeter, has created a spreadsheet that provides county-by-county PLF estimates that:
  1. Replaces the July estimated PLF amounts for each county with the July actual distributions; and

  2. Recalculates the August-December PLF amounts at 1.68% of the state’s general revenue fund (GRF) instead of 1.66% of the GRF.
Based on new calculations, the total statewide CY17 PLF distribution estimate is $380,571,537.
