ODT Posts June 2017 PLF Distribution

The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) has posted the June 2017 Public Library Fund (PLF) distribution. State tax collections continue to fall short of expectations. Total state tax revenues are $840.8 million (-4.1%) below the Office of Budget and Management (OBM) projections. The last time that state tax revenues met expectations was July 2016.

The June 2017 PLF distribution of $33,867,673 is more than $1.3 million below ODT’s estimate for the month, but $843,909 more than the June 2016 distribution.

A look at the PLF distribution for the past three years and a link to an Excel spreadsheet listing each county’s distribution total for June 2017 can be found on the OLC website.
