Registration Now Open for CPIM: Public Library Fiscal Officer Conference

The OLC’s Library Accounting Division is hosting its annual Public Library Fiscal Officer Conference, April 20-21, 2017 at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Lewis Center (North Columbus).  This two-day conference is designed to provide a total of seven (7) hours of continuing education credit for the Ohio Treasurer’s Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM). You can register for both days of the conference or choose one day only (four CPIM credits are possible on Day 1 and three CPIM credits are possible on Day 2).

This workshop is designed for library fiscal officers and other staff members responsible for managing library finances. Topics at this year’s conference include:

  • internal controls (includes a fraud case study)
  • Sunshine law
  • budgeting (legal requirements and planning strategies)
  • audits (Ohio compliance supplement)
