The OLC held a webinar to explain the new overtime pay rules and how they affect library workers. Under the new U.S. Labor Department regulation, most salaried workers earning up to $47,476 a year must receive time-and-a-half overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours during a week. Jonathan Vaughn, Partner, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, LLP and Michelle Francis, Director of Government and Legal Services with OLC explained the changes which will take effect on Dec. 1, 2016.
