Goals and Objectives

  • Goal #1: Provide high quality programs and training to educate and develop OLC members.
    • Objective #1: MAD will propose at least one session for each for stand-alone conferences:  Community Engagement, Safety & Security, and Facilities
    • Objective #2: MAD will propose at least 3 sessions for the Annual Convention and Expo.
  • Goal #2: Develop a timeline and plan to review the Standards for Public Library Services in Ohio
    • Objective #1: MAD to review the Standards document against core competencies
  • Goal #3: Develop a manager’s bibliography  with books, articles, blogs, etc. on the MAD page of the OLC site
    • Objective #1: MAD to use current division resources
    • Objective #2: MAD to request additional resources from the division in an annual newsletter
  • Goal #4: Develop an annual MAD Newsletter
    • Objective #1: MAD to send newsletter to all division members highlighting who we are, what we’re working on, request for items for the bibliography
    • Objective #2: MAD to link newsletter to division section of the OLC site
  • Goal #5: MAD to review/update division mission
