Purpose and Objectives |
The purpose of the Management and Administration Division is to serve its members by creating opportunities to exchange ideas and information, and to build skills and knowledge in the following areas: leadership, planning, management principles, trends, and obtaining and allocating funds.
2012 Objectives:
- Partnership
- Goal – Collaborate with Human Resources & Trainer Development Division on developing/presenting a program
- Goal – Collaborate with Supportive Staff Division to raise profile of paraprofessional customer service staff
- Leadership Development
- Goal – Establish “Monthly Mad Moment” bulletin for management tips
- Technology
- Goal - Aid Membership to use Advances of Technology and How to Manage Them
- Propose chapter conference program about online identity management and professional involvement in social media
- Publications
- Goal – Assist Director of Communications with making the Ohio Public Library Administrators' Handbook available
