Certification Luncheon Set for Sept. 29 in Sandusky

Join Certified Public Librarians (CPL) and Certified Public Library Staff (CPLS) from around the state for a special luncheon on Thurs., Sept. 29, 2016 featuring guest speaker Tena Wilson, Executive Director of the Stark County District Library. With over 25 years of library experience, Wilson leads with a unique perspective stemming from a career that began with designing bookmobiles and progressed to developing marketing plans, managing library budgets and overseeing daily operations of multiple libraries. Her library employment has taken her to several states and cities. During this event, Wilson will share her passion for innovation including her library’s Smart Store® concept and how it has made an impact on the community. It’s a great way to show your commitment to the profession to your patrons and colleagues. Additionally, Certified Public Librarians are welcomed to add C.P.L. and Certified Public Library Staff may add C.P.L.S. after their signatures and on business cards to indicate their certified status.
